All the parrot species are listed alphabetically using their Latin names. As there are about 350 species this list covers 6 pages! These pages can be accessed via the buttons to the left.
Each species has a dedicated page of information and pictures, simply click on the image to access it. You can also navigate to the info pages via the common names that come up on the left.

I very much hope you enjoy browsing the amazing array of parrots. A few are now extinct, others are heading that way, and at the other extreme some will be very familiar to you as popular pets. The information pages will hopefully give you an insight into an individual species, especially if you are considering getting one as a pet. They all have different personalities and requirements. Some don’t do well in captivity, others do.
